Today was our last day of work experience in Malaga. I took the bus to the groomers for the last time, de-flead a lovely golden retriever, and groomed a massive spanish water dog. He took forever to dry and ended up looking like a big cotton ball by the end of it. It was so difficult to say “adios” instead of “hasta mañana” to my supervisor at the end, she was such a wonderful boss and taught me so much. I gave her a card with her dogs on it to say thank you.

When I got back to the accommodation I got a good start on packing my bags to go home. We all went out for a wonderful dinner. (Thank you Paula and Laura!)

At work I groomed a husky that was the older brother of the one I had groomed previously. He was a lot more calm and well behaved (though that’s not saying much by husky standards!).

Afterwards, we all went to a flamenco show. The performers were so talented. Some of us then went to karaoke.

Had a amazing time in my work placement wonderful staff. I’ve learned some much skills at my work place great team work and great communication skills with everyone. I would love to come here again😭😭 I am so delighted😁😁😁

For my last day, I got to make a butterfly, just like the one I made on my first day of work experience, only I didn’t get to choose the colours this time. I used some scrap pieces from other projects. When it was time to leave, I gave the guys the cans of coke zero I bought them (they’ve bought me one every day I’ve worked there) and the postcard I wrote for them and they both gave me big hugs and sent me away with a box full of all my pieces I’ve made so far. I’m going to miss them terribly, it’s been so amazing! I promised I would visit again in the summer and they told me to come back anytime 💛💛

Today we we’re fixing batteries and repairing to a good condition and this day was our last day in the scooter shop. It was a good experience overall i have learned new skills and gained more confidence when working with electrics.

Last day in work experience absolutely heartbroken don’t wanna go I was with junior infants and they where the best they all always hugged me and 1 of the kids kept falling asleep on me every time I stat down
