Today was our last day of work experience in Malaga. I took the bus to the groomers for the last time, de-flead a lovely golden retriever, and groomed a massive spanish water dog. At work I groomed a husky that was the older brother of the one I had groomed previously. He was a lot more calm and well behaved (though that’s not saying much by husky standards!). Afterwards, we all went to a flamenco show. The performers were so talented. Some of us then went to karaoke.

Today I groomed five dogs. Two of them were bulldogs, and I was warned they may be aggressive when being blow-dried. I was patient with them and after the groom they were muy guapa. After work some of us explored the city and got some dragonfruit in the market.

Today I got to groom a husky and he was quite a handful. I finished the day grooming the shops dog, he was so sweet.

We had a lovely trip to Frigilliana and Nerja today. We were able to explore the caves of Nerja and had a great time in the town.

Today was a really chill day in the dog groomers, we got through three or four pups today. This one had an incredible amount of fur, it was so difficult to get it wet. He looked like a cloud after I had dried him, one of the softest dogs I’ve ever seen (and one ofContinue reading “Friday!”
