Peace day in Malaga

As today is the 30th of January Spain is celebrating Peace Day. This day is dedicated to teaching peace and non-violence in schools. Every year, classrooms across Spain pause their regular lessons to do something peaceful. As I was in my work placement in OXO a group of school kids were marching for this day.

Murallas de Alcazaba

Yesterday we visited Alcazaba of Malaga. The story behind it is multi-cultural. Alcazaba was previously occupied by Phoenicians since around 600BC, remains of Phoenicians fortification wall have been under-covered there. The castle is interesting and worth a visit. We also went on a hike that had a beautiful viewpoint.
