Today we visited Granada. It was very cold but very beautiful. It was nice to see the countryside on the drive there.

Today our tutors visited us at our work experience placement. There was a presentation by one of their volunteers and funders, Caixa Bank who support their activities. The initative encourages and supports people to start up their own enterprise/business which was very interesting. Today we visited several local voluntary and state led local initiatives and the local market. All of these places are important to locals and older people to meet up, not feel isolated and find out what is happening in their area. Today we prepared posters for an upcoming workshop on depression, met some other students from Portugal and some volunteers and service users. We did a team building exercise where we collectively made some yummy cookies.
