Today at work we managed to save a scooter throttle from being totally thrown away by replacing the hall sensor inside by soldering a new one to the connections in the throttle. Afterwards we had to figure out exactly what was wrong with a possibly faulty control unit which had a weird coating all around the circuit board which made it impossible to both test with the multimeter and possible fix the short circuit within the board – however later on in the day we find out that the screen is causing the short circuit and not the control unit itself, which is somewhat good news as the screen is alot easier and a WHOLE lot cheaper to repair let alone replace. Afterwards we had to find the correct key to unlock the slide for the battery for an ebike that needed it’s battery replace, however the key was completely lost and after I had tried every single key that was in the warehouse, we had to brute force a screwdriver and hammer into the keyhole to unlock the entire thing – afterwards we replaced the battery and subsequently had to replace the keyhole with a new one.
