Today in work we worked on a “Nana Scooter” for an old person that had issues with the battery – I was super involved in the whole process and actually got to alot of the work which made me feel accomplished and as if I was having a “proper” effect on things. Afterwards I cleaned the inside and outside of a professional multimeter that was lost for a good while in a really dirty area because everything was covered in grease or oil or something from a car but once I was done with it it was alot more spotless. After that we got to watch Dani work on a battery that was severely discharged and figure out solutions on how to safely charge the battery to the point where the bmu turns on so the battery can charge as normal. Watching these methodologies and different sorts of requirements for how to figure these sorts of things out is making me learn so much on what I already know on electronics repair. Afterwards, I got to be involved and got to install a heatsink to a repaired battery and put the battery case back together. Later on in the day I went to a vegan tapas place and had vegan chorizo fries and vegan fish – it was pretty nice.
